INFO-NOTES _ engl. _ 27-02-2010 :: The new year has just started and yet the PSYCHO THRILL Robots are spinning the turntables in a vigorous way: SAVE THE ROBOTS, the continuous PSYCHO THRILL event sequel in Aachen`s nightlife since February of 2007 at Aachen`s PARKSIDE CLUB, has been repeatedly sounding out the breaks and edges of electronic music in an intransigent manner within the last three years without losing the basic club experience out of sight. In celebration of the third anniversary its protagonists therefore will be presenting nobody less than an authentic member of the DETROIT TECHNO blueprint for his first stand in Aachen. With DJ 3000 aka FRANKI JUNCAJ one of the presently most important and interesting upfront producers of the current "Future Techno & House" generation, as well as constructive artist from the top notch shelf of the Motor City stronghold UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE and figurehead of his own MOTECH imprint, will be debuting as a matter of course in the basement of Aachen`s legendary club!


INFO-NOTES _ ger.  _ 27-02-2010 :: Das neue Jahr ist zwar noch jung und doch drehen die PSYCHO THRILL Roboter schon wieder kräftigst an den Vinyl-Tellern, die die Welt bedeuten: SAVE THE ROBOTS, die seit dem Februar 2007 aus dem Aachener Nachtleben nicht mehr wegzudenkende Eventreihe des PSYCHO THRILL im Aachener PARKSIDE CLUB, hat in den letzten drei Jahren immer wieder kompromisslos die Brüche und Kanten elektronischer Musik ausgelotet, ohne dabei das Grunderlebnis Club aus dem Sinn zu verlieren. Zum DREI-jährigen Bestehen präsentieren ihre Protagonisten deshalb diesmal zu diesem Anlass keinen Geringeren als einen weiteren, authentischen Vertreter des DETROIT-TECHNO-BLUEPRINT für ein erstmaliges Gastspiel in Aachen. Mit DJ3000 aka FRANKI JUNCAJ debütiert dabei fast wie selbstverständlich und definitiv einer der derzeit wichtigsten wie interessantesten Upfront-Produzenten der aktuellen Generation „Future Techno & House" schaffender Künstler direkt vom obersten Regal der Motor City-Centrale UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE, sowie auch als Aushängeschild des eigenen MOTECH Imprint, im Basement des Aachener Kultclubs!

The UR-DJ and producer crew around mastermind "MAD" MIKE BANKS in Detroit is labeled as being "THE" Soul of Techno - not only among some specialists in the music scene. Either on vinyl under their own label plus sub imprints [S.I.D./Hypnotech/Happy Tracks/Z-Tracks, etc.] or on stage- UR wants to do more than just music for the clubs. They break with stereotypes and try to appeal directly to the minds of their fans, and not simply to their dancing feet. Besides this, the UR logo with the two white capital letters on a black fond even in 2010 consequently embodies the undoubted bottom line of social and political integrity, of a sturdy agenda for change and thoroughgoingness for many of their fans - also in the light of new, again groundbreaking releases of John E. Collins [UR 080] and UR "Somewhere In Japan" [UR 079]. This has not changed during the twenty years since Mike Banks and Jeff Mills initially founded the label, equally as there has not been a great change in the circumstances, which still can be encountered in Detroit and which do affect the entire image of UR quite substantially.


Das UR-DJ und Produzenten Kollektiv selbst um dessen Mastermind „MAD" MIKE BANKS in Detroit, gilt dabei nicht nur in Spezialistenkreisen als „DIE" Seele des Techno. Ob auf Vinyl mit eigenem Label plus Sub-Imprints [ S.I.D. / Hypnotech / Happy Tracks / Z-Tracks etc. ] wie auf der Bühne - UR wollen immer mehr als nur Clubmusik machen. So räumt man mit Stereotypen auf und sucht den direkten Weg in die Köpfe seiner Fans, und nicht nur in die Beine. Daneben verkörpert das UR Logo mit den zwei weißen Blockbuchstaben auf schwarzem Grund für viele folgerichtig angesichts bereits in Kürze anstehender neuer, erneut Genre wegweisender Releases von John E.Collins [UR 080] und UR „Somewhere In Japan" [UR 079] auch in 2010 noch die ungebrochene Quintessenz von sozialer und politischer Integrität, unbeugsamer Absicht zur Veränderung und Kompromisslosigkeit. Besides the guest`s live-set, Psycho Thrill founder CLAUS BACHOR and STR_AC front man CHRIS BAUMANN will guarantee for more essential sound contributions on the Techno & House main floor in the basement of PARKSIDE under the topic adult 4/4th entertainment.  The main task here is – as always- to increase the fun of stylistic back`n`force quantum leaps among Acid, Dub-Tech, House, High-Tech Funk, Dubstep and Future Minimal in a rascal-like manner, true to the theme "laugh hard at the absurdly evil" or just leaving yourself to the approved PSYCHO THRILL motto "There are no rules, fear is unknown and sleep is out of question!".


Neben dem GUEST-LIVE-SET garantieren dazu Psycho Thrill Founder CLAUS BACHOR und STR_AC Frontman CHRIS BAUMANN auf dem Techno & House-MainFloor weitere essentielle Soundbeiträge im Keller des PARKSIDE zum Thema Adult-4/4 Entertainment. Die Hauptaufgabe hier lautet, wie immer eigentlich, mit lausbubenhafter Verspieltheit den Spaß an stilistischen Back-N-Force-Quantensprüngen zwischen Acid, Dub-Tech, House, High-Tech Funk, Dubstep und Future Minimal zu erhöhen, getreu dem Motto „Laugh hard at the absurdly evil" oder sich einfach nur der bewährten PSYCHO THRILL Devise „There are no rules, fear is unknown and sleep is out of question!" getrost zu überlassen.



In the meantime, the PARKSIDE lounge will be illuminated subtly by the much-loved STR-Visuals from everybody`s darling WARUM FRANK, while a PSYCHO THRILL ALL STAR-TEAM consisting of Ex-OSTGUT resident DAVID LANGER and Spy-In-The-House editor plus birthday boy JAN STROEHER is going to incur the musical lead of this Micro-Disco together with the visual expert under the chill-out auspices between Beatdown, Deep House, as well as rarities out of the electronic realm named "Musica Obscura". During the birthday party there will also be a good portion of fresh mix CDs as give-away from the DJs of the night, besides some other "Goodies for free". This is meant as a simple, but sincere ACKNOWLEDGEMENT for the great support of the always so wonderful crowd in Aachen and for the club itself, together with its operators RICK and MARCO and their nice team – while stocks last!
